Vanessa Chin

After my first post about Vanessa Chin a few weeks ago, I decided to do some more research on her. Here are a few facts about Vanessa gleaned from her UC Davis track & field bio as well as her public Facebook profile:

* Born in Santa Ana, CA, and raised in Lake Forest, CA
* Graduated from El Toro High School in 2008
* Currently a junior at UC Davis
* Is an accomplished pole-vaulter and golfer
* Her favorite Bible passage is Philippians 3:7-9

The folks at Busted Coverage labeled Vanessa as the new Allison Stokke. After seeing these photos from her public Facebook profile (after the jump), I think you will agree with me that Vanessa is a worthy successor to Allison and a certified cutie in her own right.

Lisa Fleming

Lisa Kim Fleming is of Korean and Caucasian descent. According to her website, she was born in North Dakota (her father was in the military and was stationed there) and grew up in Sacramento, CA. As a teenager she was into the car modification scene. She drew the interest of photographers at a car show and found her way into import modeling, and then into mainstream modeling. She now lives in Orange County, CA, where she runs a modeling agency, an online automotive magazine, and an entertainment brand.

Christina the Half-Asian American Apparel Model

When I saw Christina featured on DISGRASIAN yesterday, my jaw dropped. You see, like the ladies of DISGRASIAN, I am also totally enthralled with this girl!

A little backstory: I am a frequent visitor of the Gothamist, on which American Apparel is a prominent advertiser. The American Apparel ads are a fun diversion when visiting Gothamist since the girls in the ads are usually hot and scantily clad. Anyway, one day a few months ago I saw an ad that featured a girl that I had not seen before. She was not scantily clad, but she was mesmerizingly beautiful. My hapa-dar instantly told me that she was half-Asian. Her ads were featured prominently on Gothamist for a few weeks: first it was Pencil Skirt, then it was Double U-Neck Dress, and so on. Then suddenly she stopped appearing in the ads. I was strangely disappointed about it. I tried to find more information about her, to no avail. I wasn’t even able to learn her name.

Then I saw the article on DISGRASIAN. Her name is Christina! And, according to the article comments, it has been confirmed that she is half-Filipino, half-Caucasian, and 100% beautiful.

Jessica Cambensy

Jessica Cambensy is a fashion model. She has no Wikipedia entry at the moment, but from poking around the internet I was able to learn that she is originally from the Chicago area, that she started modeling at age 14, and that she has now become quite popular in Asian markets such as Japan and Hong Kong. Also, she has a Caucasian father and a Chinese and/or Filipina mother.

UPDATE: Her Facebook page says that she is half-Chinese, so I’m going with that.
