Half-Asians

Eva Angelina is an adult film actress of Chinese, Cuban, English and Irish descent. She is from Orange County, California, though she spent some of her early childhood in Madrid and Switzerland.

As the story goes, she came from a wealthy family that went broke when she was 13, around which time she started to make explicit homemade videos. She made her adult film debut at age 18 in the Shane’s World series. She is known in the industry for wearing glasses (she has poor eyesight) and being adorably cute yet sexy.

Kina Grannis is a singer/songwriter from Mission Viejo, California. She has a Japanese mother and a Caucasian father (a mix of English, Irish, French, Dutch, Welsh, and Scottish).

She first became famous for winning a Doritos-sponsored contest that featured her in a Super Bowl XLII ad on February 3, 2008. She had already self-released three albums by then, and she has since released a studio album this year entitled Stairwells. She went on tour earlier this year to promote the album, and she will continue touring this fall on the west coast as well as Texas and Florida.

She is currently working on a secret crazy project that she has devoted a lot of time to the past few weekends.

You might notice some biographical similarities with Marié Digby. Both are half-Japanese singer/songwriters from California that became very popular on YouTube after having created YouTube channels in 2007. Both were part of the Lilith Fair tour this summer. Both even posted similar song-recognizing tweets within a few hours of each other on Monday:

It has been an exciting few weeks for Jennifer Field and the rest of the cast of the K-Town reality show that is currently in production.

The show has continued filming as it awaits to be picked up by a network, and the cast has been attracting attention from paparazzi as they visit more hot spots in Koreatown Los Angeles. Here are a couple of shots taken outside Le Cercle after Jennifer tore it up (like she tears up every place in Ktown):

Meanwhile, Jennifer has continued to attend auditions for other projects, and she has been tearing those up as well, having been offered a number of roles in the last couple of weeks (see here and here and here and here). It’s looking more and more like she’ll never have to go back to bartending ever again!

Filming has begun on a new reality show modeled after MTV’s Jersey Shore featuring Asian-Americans in L.A.’s Koreatown. Tentatively titled K-Town, the cast was announced via pictures posted on Facebook and Twitter after the shooting of the pilot episode this past weekend. Here is a look at the cast:

The girl standing second to the left is named Jennifer Field, and she instantly set off my hapa-dar. I did a little bit of research and indeed she is half-Korean and half-English/Irish/German. That makes her a member of the hot Korean-Irish club!

This girl hasn’t come out of nowhere. She won the 2006 Miss Asian America pageant and also that year she was named Miss San Jose Grand Prix in her hometown of San Jose. She has also done some acting and modeling.

Those of you from the U.S. that have access to U.K. men’s magazines will agree with me that British magazines are far superior to their American equivalents. For one, they show nudity. And for another, they always seem to feature hotter women.

I’ve had many favorites over the years, from Katie Price aka Jordan (circa 1998, before her second boob job) and Rachel Stevens, to Keeley Hazell and Gemma Atkinson, but my favorite UK cover model of all time would have to be Leilani Dowding.

A former winner of the Miss Great Britain beauty pageant, she is half-English and half-Filipina, which gives her a look that’s different from most of the girls featured in the UK mags.
