The New Year in TwitPics

As I’ve mentioned before, Twitter is often the social network of choice for ladies to post photos of themselves from their mobile phones while they’re out on the town. And of course, New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest going-out nights of the year, so my Twitter feed that night and the next day was flooded with pictures of half-Asian beauties.

Jessica Michibata juega al tenis

I found this while researching yesterday’s post and thought it deserved an entry of its own. I don’t know if Jessica Michibata actually plays tennis, but she looks like a natural on the tennis court (and on the beach) in this photoset.

The title of this post is dedicated to:
(1) Jessica’s Argentinian father (of partial Spanish descent), and
(2) whoever it was at my high school that used my Spanish textbook before me, who found the phrase “jugar al tenis” (“to play tennis”) and overwrote the T with a P. Still cracks me up.

Jessica Michibata Has a Blog

Another blog written by a hot half-Japanese model: Jessica Michibata has a blog of her own at Honeyee, written in a mix of English and Japanese, where she shares news and perspectives about things going on in her life.

Interestingly, she recently posted an article about how she is a fan of fellow half-Japanese blogger Rumi Neely, who I featured last week.
