Meg and Dia

Meg and Dia Frampton are the founding members of a band called Meg & Dia. The two sisters were born and raised in St. George, Utah. They are half-Korean: their father (who is of German descent and who was also born and raised in Utah) was a DJ in South Korea. Dia is the lead singer of the band, and older sister Meg plays guitar and provides backup vocals. Other members of the band include Nicholas Price on drums, Jonathan Snyder on bass, and Carlo Gimenez on lead guitar. The band got their big break in 2006 when they were selected as the official MySpace band on the Warped Tour. Their latest album “Here, Here, and Here” was released in 2009.

The band is on MySpace and also has a website. They are also on Twitter @megdia.

Jarah Mariano

Jarah Mariano

Jarah-Evelyn Makalapua Mariano is an American fashion model of Chinese, Korean, and Hawaiian descent. She was born in Hawai’i and grew up in Mission Viejo, California. At age 15 she started modeling. She moved to NYC after high school, attending Pace University full-time while continuing to work as a model. She is best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Lisa Fleming

Lisa Fleming

Lisa Kim Fleming is of Korean and Caucasian descent. According to her website, she was born in North Dakota (her father was in the military and was stationed there) and grew up in Sacramento, CA. As a teenager she was into the car modification scene. She drew the interest of photographers at a car show and found her way into import modeling, and then into mainstream modeling. She now lives in Orange County, CA, where she runs a modeling agency, an online automotive magazine, and an entertainment brand.
